SKI magazine reported that the popular Destination Hotels and Resorts have added yet another great piece of ski real estate to their collection. The company has added Stowe Mountain Lodge to its list of great ski locales. This lodge is located in Stowe, Vermont and is considered “The Ski Capital of the East” according to SKI magazine and their coverage of the topic. Stowe Mountain Lodge boasts 132 luxury rooms to skiers at the base of Stowe Mountain Resort’s Mt. Mansfield, which is the highest peak. What is great is that these are not just ski homes they will offer a four season availability, and anyone that knows Vermont knows that it is beautiful during every season. Skiers are anxious to visit the new luxury lodge that is scheduled to open in the fall of 2007.
Stowe Mountain Lodge is notable because it is the newest mountain resort to open in this area of the country in more than 50 years. Also, the Lodge has gotten a lot of notice because it offers something quite unique, called the Front Four. The Front Four is 34 units that are shared ownership residences, or fractionals, as they are often called. They get their names from the four ski trails on the front of beautiful Mt. Mansfield. The shared ownership residences are a great option for those that would like to invest in a ski home but don’t necessarily want to take on the financial burden by themselves.
